Marc focuses on domestic and international tax law.

He regularly advises Swiss and foreign private clients on legal and taxation issues. Marc assists his clients in wealth and succession planning and in social security matters.

Marc further acts on behalf of national and international companies and senior executives. He is experienced in cross-border tax matters, in particular tax planning and restructurings as well as employee participation schemes. Marc further assists his clients in other legal matters and acts as representative in non-contentious and contentious procedures.

Marc has been with Fischer Ramp Buchmann since its incorporation, first as senior associate, since 2020 as partner. Prior to joining Fischer Ramp Buchmann, Marc was an associate in an international law firm in Zurich and a consultant in the private wealth team of one of the ‘Big Four’ professional services organisations.

Marc was educated at the University of St Gallen, where he gained an MA HSG in Law and Economics (2011). He was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 2014. In 2016 he qualified as a certified tax expert.

Legal 500 recommends Marc in the field of private client as “excellent lawyer with detailed knowledge in taxation.” Further, he has been shortlisted as IFC Lawyer of the year, Partner (Future Leaders Awards).

He has achieved an individual ranking in Chambers HNW, where he is described as „extremely knowledgeable on a broad range of tax matters and challenges international clients are typically facing“ .

Also, Marc is featured in the Private Client Global Elite directory.

Marc is a member of the Zurich and the Swiss Bar Associations and of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). Further he lectures individual taxation at the Swiss Institute for Tax Law (SIST).

His working languages are German and English.
